Honestly, I visit websites every day that promise to give me something or another and they don't usually follow through with that promise. They ply you with gorgeous women, hardcore previews and other promises to get you to join the site and when you log in to the member's area you can't figure out where all these things are that you were promised. Wasteland is not at all like this and from the moment you begin the free tour until the moment you log in you are getting everything that you've ever wanted to see or experience from the BDSM lifestyle.
The member's area of Wasteland is so easy to use that I almost couldn't believe it. There's nothing to distract you from finding exactly what you want. All of the content on Wasteland is listed in a nice, neat, categorized list right there on the main member's area.
Wow, I have just spent the last hour quickly browsing through the various categories. I'll be the first to tell you that there is no way I can cover everything that's on this site in this short review. But, I'll give you an overview of the top things and let you explore the rest yourself.
First, there are multiple categories that contain video and photo content. The best place to start is "The Wasteland Weekly Edition", which also happens to be the first link that you will come to. This is where all of the new content that is added each Friday is listed so you can easily tell what's new and what's not. If you have already seen everything that's new you might want to move to photos next.
The photo section is not really a photo section but rather a collection of links to various collections. There are galleries from Wasteland, galleries from all over the world and all different photographers, weekly fetish pics, Asian underground and Wasteland party pics. This isn't all of the photo collections but it gives you a slight understanding of the number of photos that you are going to find. In the Dark Garden Gallery you are going to find well over 750,000 fetish photos. My only complaint with the photos is the inconsistency in size and quality. I'm not referring to the older photos although they aren't dated so I can't be certain when they were added. But, I did find some that were recently added that could have been a better quality. I understand that not all photos are taken by the Wasteland staff so they deserve a break on that point. The size is the most troubling aspect for me. Rather than have nice large images most of them are quite small. When looking at photos and especially fetish photos I like to have them nice and large so I can see all of the details.
The movie section is equally as impressive as the photo section. There are hundreds of downloadable movies. I absolutely don't have time to go through them all but the quality definitely varies and most of the ones that I found were in WMV format with low and high speeds available. There are also full-length movies that you can download without paying any additional money.

I know this review went long and it doesn't even scratch the tip of what you are going to find in the member's area. But, the one thing that is safe to say is this is the largest collection of BDSM and Fetish content, merchandise, material, knowledge, personals and everything else on this site. When you do join you are going to want to stay a member for a very long time because of the sheer volume of things on this site. Definitely hit the nail on the head with this site. Really a good site that actually shows true fetish concepts without all of the fluff and stuff. The picutre content is a little weird to navigate, but is well worth joining to find out. |

True lifestyle website and I agree that this type of produced content is the real deal. I don't agree that the pictures were weird to navigate and agree completely with the review that the site was easier to get around in than most I have encountered. Life long member right here... |
